Op de PAX East presentatie van Gearbox Software is aangekondigd dat Borderlands: The Handsome Collection een gratis Ultra HD Texture Pack krijgt.
Tijdens de presentatie van Gearbox is de Ultra HD Texture Pack aangekondigd. Deze gratis update voor Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, welke bestaat uit Borderlands 2 en The Pre-Sequel, voegt de optie toe om te spelen in 4K-resolutie met HDR, bevat betere anti-aliasing en soepelere schaduwen.
